Mission of the Role
As a Salesforce Team Lead & Functional Consultant, you will play a dual role:
1. Coaching and developing people
You guide, support and mentor consultants to help them grow professionally and deliver high-quality work.
2. Delivering successful Salesforce projects
You remain hands-on as a Salesforce Functional Consultant—leading analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training and go-lives.
This combination places you at the heart of our Salesforce team, bridging customers, colleagues and our business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & People Development
- Act as the first point of contact for your team members.
- Take an active role in recruitment: screening, interviewing and selecting new colleagues.
- Ensure a high-quality onboarding and smooth integration of new employees.
- Follow up on day-to-day topics: TRM, illness, leave approvals, staffing.
- Help team members maintain an up-to-date CV and prepare them for customer interviews and project assignments.
- Prepare and conduct Performance & Career Review conversations.
- Guide team members in their professional development, growth paths and internal mobility.
- Hold regular one-to-one meetings to discuss performance, mindset and attitude.
- Advise People & Competence Managers on training, promotions, performance and compensation topics.
Salesforce Functional Consulting
- Translate business requirements into effective, scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Understand, analyse and challenge customer processes in marketing, sales and service.
- Take ownership of your part of each project and coordinate closely with teammates.
- Contribute to or lead analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, documentation, training and go-live.
- Engage proactively with customers to understand their strategic goals and advise on best practices.
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts and proposals to support Inetum’s growth.
- Work at customer sites, from home, or from one of our offices (Ghent, Mechelen, Braine l’Alleud).
