Mission

We're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team, focusing on a critical project involving the migration of existing Java applications from Sybase to PostgreSQL. You'll also play a key role in developing new applications using a modern cloud-native stack.

In this role, you'll leverage your strong programming and database skills to ensure a seamless transition for our applications while also contributing to the build-out of our next generation of services.

What you’ll do:

  • Migrate Java applications from Sybase to PostgreSQL,
  • Design and develop new applications using a modern cloud stack, primarily Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Kafka,
  • Work with various integration technologies like Kafka and REST to ensure robust system connectivity,
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable software.

Perfil

  • Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot,
  • Excellent database knowledge, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL,
  • Experience with Sybase and the ability to migrate stored procedures to application code,
  • Familiarity with Hibernate,
  • A solid understanding of integration patterns and technologies (e.g., Kafka, REST).

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Kubernetes,
  • Knowledge of Kafka.

Hybrid work model – 3 days per week from the office (Warsaw, Lublin, or Poznań).
