Inetum is platinum partner of the 8th Franco-Portuguese Economic Conference that will be held on February 14, 2023, from 9am to 1pm, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.
This event is organized by the French Embassy in Portugal, the French Foreign Trade Advisors in Portugal and the Luso-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will have as its theme "Human Development as a Success Factor for Portugal."
In the presence of Ambassador Hélène Farnaud-Defromont, several executives of major companies as well as Portuguese personalities will comment on an exclusive study conducted by BNP Paribas Personal Finance for the French Foreign Trade Advisors on topics such as the levers that exist to retain and develop talent or how companies can maximize their social impact.
Vincent Rouaix, Chairman & Ceo of Inetum, will speak at the end of the morning on the main challenge for IT departments, namely the human factor and not technology:
IT services companies are facing a lack of talent: Information technology is struggling to attract talent from scientific fields, scientific courses are neglected by students or not encouraged enough by our education system and there is an incompressible lag time to train future digital professionals and to see them arrive on the job market. It takes 4 to 5 years to train and make a class competent. However, in 4-5 years, technologies and business needs evolve.
The employee experience is one of the keys to recruitment. Companies must do everything in their power to ensure that each of their employees can be constantly renewed and benefit from the best possible experience.
The Franco-Portuguese economic conference is back in a presential format, places are limited.
