On June 25, 1921, Czech author Karel Capek introduced the term 'robot' to the world for the first time.
in his science fiction play Rossum's Universal Robots (RUR). Today, more than 100 years after this
first appearance in our vocabulary, the term robot jumps from a mere science fiction concept to the
daily reality for thousands of people around the world.
