Inetum and the University of Zaragoza partner to create Chair dedicated to Cybersecurity and Cloud.
Inetum, a European leader in digital solutions and services, and the University of Zaragoza have signed a collaboration agreement to create the Inetum Cybersecurity and Cloud Chair. This initiative aims to promote the generation, application, and share of knowledge in these key areas, and fostering cooperation between the academic and business sectors.
Jacques Pommeraud, Chairman and CEO of Inetum, and Gloria Cuenca, Vice-Rector for Technology Transfer and Innovation at the University of Zaragoza, have agreed to create the Inetum Cybersecurity and Cloud Chair which aims to enhance the learning experience of students by providing them with cutting-edge practical training in the field of technology. The Chair will serve as a platform for the development of innovative research projects, doctoral theses and various training activities. It will also offer students unique opportunities to visit Inetum's facilities.
Through this Chair, Inetum and the University of Zaragoza are committed to nurturing tomorrow's talent and promoting the sharing of knowledge in key technological areas such as Cloud and cybersecurity.
Jacques Pommeraud highlights the strategic importance of this collaboration, which is part of the Inetum’s purpose to create a digital impact on companies, the public sector, and society: "Cybersecurity and the Cloud are key areas in technological landscape. It is essential that the academic world and companies help each other to provide relevant solutions in these areas. We are delighted to collaborate with the University of Zaragoza to provide students with an environment conducive to the development of innovative solutions", he said.
Gloria Cuenca, Vice-Rector for Technology Transfer and Innovation at the University of Zaragoza, , sees this collaboration as a major step forward."This Chair represents a unique opportunity to advance technological knowledge in the crucial fields of cybersecurity and the cloud. It will also facilitate the transfer of this knowledge to society. The technology sector is gaining in importance in Aragon, and the creation of this Chair clearly confirms this trend", she declared.
