Mission

• Installation, monitoring, maintenance, and operation of Oracle databases (running on AIX OS), Exadata-Linux, SQL Server, and Postgres-Linux
• Implementation of backup policies, RMAN, flash copy, snapshot, development and maintenance of automated scripts for administrative tasks, media rewriting, anonymization, etc.
• Implementation of Disaster Recovery policies, Oracle Data Guard, Microsoft Always On, HA/DR for Postgres
• Application of security patches (PSU, CPU) for Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres technologies
• Providing support for user access, development, and testing teams

Profile

• Proven experience in database administration, particularly with Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres
• Strong knowledge of AIX, Linux, and Exadata environments
• Proficiency in shell scripting, including Kash, Bash, and PowerShell
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions, including RMAN, flash copy, and snapshot technologies
• Familiarity with Disaster Recovery solutions such as Oracle Data Guard and Microsoft Always On
• Ability to apply security patches and updates for database technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide support to users and development/testing teams
