Mission

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you support one or more business units and act as a connector between management, HR and employees. You help implement and follow up on HR programs and initiatives that contribute to business goals, while developing your skills and expertise in the HRBP domain.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building a relationship of trust with managers and supporting them with HR-related questions and operational challenges.
  • Engaging in employee conversations such as onboarding follow-ups, career check-ins, and general well-being discussions.
  • Contributing to retention efforts by identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing ideas with senior HR colleagues.
  • Supporting change processes and helping to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assisting managers in building strong, effective teams by offering HR guidance and support.
  • Collaborating with HR experts (Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, etc.) to find solutions to HR-related questions.
  • Helping to implement and improve HR policies, processes and tools throughout the employee journey.
  • Participating in HR projects and contributing to their coordination and follow-up.
  • Staying informed about HR trends and developments, and sharing relevant insights with the team.

What we expect:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR, ideally in a generalist or advisory role.
  • Familiarity with Belgian labor law and HR practices — a solid foundation is expected.
  • Experience in a corporate or large organizational context is a plus.
  • Strong interest in business dynamics and how HR can support strategic goals.
  • Fluency in Dutch and a good working knowledge of French and English.
