Mission:

We will be in charge of a 3 years complex transformation program for a large bank, composed by a concentration phase where we will be taking over the current contracts, a transition phase where we will reorganize the teams including onshore, nearshore and offshore components and a transformation phase where we will change the delivery models and we will apply new technologies such as GenAI, automation, low code.

The onshore/streetshore locations will be mainly in France (Paris, Lille), the nearshore locations will be in mainly in Romania (Bucharest and Iasi) with some extensions in Poland and Morocco, and the offshore locations will be in India (Bangalore).

As we will address several customer’s entities, we will create a central Governance based in Paris, France and a local governance, dedicated for each entity. The delivery managers for entities will report into the CORE TEAM Program Director, the entities’ Transition Managers will report into the CORE Team Transition Director, and the entities’ PMOs will be linked to the CORE Team Project Management Officer.

The role

We are looking for Transition Managers based either, Romania or in France to be part of the Entity Team to be close to the Entity’s Delivery Manager.

As the Delivery manager is the Key person overseeing the delivery and client face-off for the delivery matters, the Transition Manager oversees the transitions from onshore to the streetshore & nearshore locations.

 The Transition Manager will  oversee all the concentration, transition and transformations with impact in onshore, streetshore and nearshore setups.

You will be in charge to develop a detailed transition plan that outlines the scope, goals, deliverables, resources, risks, and dependencies of the change project. You will also define the roles and responsibilities of the transition team, which may include internal and external staff, consultants, vendors, and partners. The transition plan serves as a blueprint and a communication tool to coordinate and align the expectations and actions of all the parties involved.

You will implement the transition plan, managing the day-to-day activities and tasks of the transition team. You monitor the progress and performance of the transition, tracking the milestones, issues, and risks, and reporting on the status and outcomes to the senior management and the stakeholders.

As we will proceed in a shift-lift approach, another role is to transform the activities from Time and Material to Managed Services or Massified T&M. You also be in charge of implementing new technologies and methods, introducing GenAI whenever possible to increase team velocity, increase the quality and efficiency and to decrease costs.

Profil

Project management, change management, risk management, data analysis, and industry knowledge. Some of the managerial skills include strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Some of the interpersonal skills include communication, collaboration, negotiation, leadership, and emotional intelligence.

We are looking for someone with at least 10 years experience in project management, with relevant qualifications, such as a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, and certifications in project management, change management, or transition management

PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a real asset

The ideal candidate speaks English and French fluently and is open for travel up to 50% of the time, at least in the first stage of the transition program

Prior experience in transitions and transformation programs is a must.
