Inetum joins BAIC to boost the adoption of AI

Bilbao, May 21, 2025.- Inetum, a European leader in digital services and solutions, announces its incorporation to the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC), a reference center in the field of artificial intelligence located in the Basque Country, which aims to promote innovation, research and development in the field of AI and foster collaboration between companies, academic institutions and public entities to promote the use of this technology in various sectors. 

With this initiative, Inetum reaffirms its commitment to innovation and technological development in the Basque Country, contributing to the growth and competitiveness of companies in the region. "We are excited to join BAIC to drive innovation and establish strategic collaborations for the present and the future," highlights Jose Ramon Castro, manager of Inetum's AI Experience Center (AIXC).

"This is an important step also for the development of our new AI Experience Center, which since its conception in 2024 and its launch this May, is the group's commitment to have a new center of innovation and reference in AI services, with the ability to attract and develop talent, through the AI Factory, and which seeks to materialize in a complete ecosystem, focused on inspiring organizations on where to apply AI, exploring with them use cases and defining projects that we execute in the factory. And all this in a shared ecosystem environment that promotes a community to generate a positive impact on society," adds Castro.
