Mission
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, installation, and development of our Linux server landscape based on Ubuntu, as well as the administration and maintenance of highly available OpenStack clouds. This role involves performance, capacity, and availability management of Linux servers, ensuring operational efficiency through troubleshooting and support, and adapting and creating automation processes and system configurations. Additionally, the candidate will support IT security efforts to harden and secure server systems and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, design, install, and develop the Linux server landscape based on Ubuntu,
- Administer and maintain highly available OpenStack clouds,
- Perform performance, capacity, and availability management of Linux servers,
- Ensure operational operation using a trouble ticket system, providing second and third level support,
- Adapt and create automation processes and automatic system configurations through scripting,
- Support IT security efforts to implement hardening and securing of server systems and services.
Profil
Must-have requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Linux environments,
- Proficiency in OpenStack or Kubernetes,
- Experience with Ansible for automation,
- Proficiency in Bash scripting.
Nice-to-have requirements:
- Experience with GitLab.
- Knowledge of security hardening practices.
This position allows for remote work for candidates based in Poland.
