Description du poste
This role is fully remote and requires strong expertise in IBM i/AS400 systems, combined with effective communication skills in French and English. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our core banking systems.
Key Responsibilities

System Administration: Manage, monitor, and optimize AS400/IBM i environments.

Maintenance & Support: Ensure system availability, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.

Performance & Security: Implement best practices for system performance, backups, and disaster recovery.

Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT teams to align system capabilities with organizational needs.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to modernize and streamline AS400 operations.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in AS400/IBM i administration.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AS400 operations, CL programming, job scheduling, and system monitoring tools.

Languages: French and English at B1/B2 level (professional working proficiency).

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Work Setup: Ability to work independently in a full remote environment.
Qualifications

• Solid experience in IBM i system administration (AS/400 / iSeries)
• Operational knowledge of Power Systems environments
• Proficiency with QuickPress tools (spool management and documentation creation)
• Proficiency with ODCS
• Basic knowledge of CL scripting, scheduling, and automation on IBM i
• Skills in incident resolution and performance optimization
• Good written and interpersonal skills for documentation and communication
• Basic knowledge of written and spoken French is required for internal communication (including ticket resolution) and technical documentation.
