Inetum Spain joins Microsoft Partner Pledge

Inetum in Spain has officially joined the Microsoft Partner Pledge program

Press Release

Partenaire

Creation date :

By signing the Partner Pledge, the technology consulting firm commits to apply new digital technologies in a sustainable and responsible way. Inetum will also contribute to ensuring that everyone can access the right skills and opportunities to make the most of the far-reaching digitalization currently affecting the economy and society. The Inetum group is working on extending this pledge to other countries as well.

"Our alliance with Microsoft consolidates and moves forward also in Spain with the common responsibility to improve society, with the joint effort to provide the necessary tools and with the responsibility to be ambassadors of this Microsoft initiative, which undoubtedly captures the essence of our positive digital flow," stresses Gonzalo Gómez Lardies, Group VP and Global Marketing Director of Inetum. "We are expanding our own challenges and reinforcing our commitment to customers and partners, and these are two key reasons to join the Microsoft Partner Pledge with enthusiasm, aware that the technology sector has great challenges ahead to meet and new opportunities to discover, to serve the society."

The Microsoft Partner Pledge focuses on four key objectives: acquiring and improving digital skills; promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace; ethical development and the application of AI; and working to achieve this in a sustainable way. All of these align with the values that Inetum holds, working in each area to be able to ensure a sustainable digitalization.

Preparing for an increasingly digital world

One of Microsoft's objectives is to promote training and the development of new digital competencies. To this end, Inetum offers a wide range of quality training options for end users, IT professionals and developers. In addition, each year a training plan is developed based on identified needs, covering both technical knowledge and the development of interpersonal skills.

Commitment to diversity and integration

For its part, Inetum has a proactive policy in favor of professional equality and access to employment, whether through gender equality, the inclusion of people with disabilities, the promotion of cultural diversity and intergenerational exchange or, more broadly, our commitment to civil society.

Among these objectives, the company's commitment to integrating people with disabilities is supported by an action plan built around six pillars that underpin the inclusive strategy deployed by the European leader in IT services: management, recruitment, retention, training, information and awareness, and relations with the adapted workforce sector.

Responsible and ethical Artificial Intelligence

Inetum also shares Microsoft's commitment to the responsible and ethical development of AI. This is part of the Group's fundamental principles and is seen in the company's day-to-day business with projects such as the ethical hacking workshops held at the Inetum Chair at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

A sustainable future

Finally, it wants to reduce its ecological footprint. This ongoing commitment to sustainability is expressed, among other things, in the company's mobility policy. Inetum is determined to be a responsible player by limiting the impact of its activities on the planet. This responsibility is reflected in a series of initiatives aimed primarily at reducing our carbon footprint, optimizing the use of resources and promoting waste recycling.

Inetum has been collaborating with Microsoft for more than 20 years in all the capabilities it offers and is also a Microsoft Global Gold Partner in all Microsoft competencies with a network of more than 2,500 experts and 5 MVPs (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional). In Spain, Inetum collaborates with Microsoft in Azure (the cloud), iWP and Data.
