Mission

We're looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on our Rating Applications domain. You'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining our probing data matcher product, which ingests and persists data streams for visualization in Grafana.

 

Project description:

The Rating Applications domain involves an active probing system. Your primary focus will be on the Probing Data Matcher product. This system is responsible for ingesting two distinct data streams, persisting them efficiently in a Postgres database, and then presenting this critical data through Grafana dashboards for insightful analysis.

 

Main tasks:

You'll be dedicating approximately 70% of your time to backend development and 30% to the maintenance of our Grafana dashboards:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java 21 and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Work with Spring Data for efficient data access and persistence to Postgres.
  • Utilize Spring Cloud (Feign) for inter-service communication.
  • Implement data processing and serialization using Lombok and Jackson.
  • Handle CSV data processing with OpenCSV.
  • Maintain and enhance Grafana dashboards to ensure accurate and insightful data visualization.
  • Collaborate on deployment strategies within Kubernetes environments.
  • Contribute to Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Project technology: Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud (Feign), Lombok, Jackson, OpenCSV, Grafana, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Postgres, JDBC.

Perfil

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot).
  • Hands-on experience with JDBC and Postgres databases.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Grafana for data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD.

Hybrid work model – 3 days per week from the office (Warsaw, Lublin, or Poznań).
