Mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join our team, specializing in SAP ASE database maintenance, monitoring, and migration. The candidate should have a strong background in administering large SAP ASE databases, performance monitoring, and problem-solving. This role will also involve future migration projects from Solaris/Spark environments to x86 architecture systems.
Main tasks:
- Administer SAP ASE databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability,
- Set up and manage database backups to ensure data integrity and availability,
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Prometheus and CheckMK,
- Collaborate on migration projects from Solaris/Spark environments to x86 architecture systems,
- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl to automate routine tasks and solve complex problems.
Perfil
- Proven experience in administering large SAP ASE databases,
- In-depth knowledge of Replication Server, Component Integration Services, and Backup Server,
- Experience in database tuning and monitoring using tools like Prometheus and CheckMK,
- Proficient in working with Unix systems, including Linux and Solaris,
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MariaDB,
- Ability to solve non-trivial tasks using scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl,
- Basic knowledge of configuration management and automation.
Hybrid work 2-3 times a week from one of our offices in Warsaw, Lublin or Poznań.
