Inetum, a leader in digital services and solutions, is offering its support to the Réseau-Lucioles association by redesigning its website and its tablet application, Tab'Lucioles, on a volunteer basis through a skills sponsorship programme.
Founded in 2004, Réseau-Lucioles is an association under law 1901 that aims to improve support for people with severe mental disabilities by pooling the experience of parents and professionals. To reach this goal, the Réseau-Lucioles collects and disseminates the parental and professional experience acquired alongside people living with disabilities through training and studies on the various disorders they may suffer from (eating disorders, sleep disorders, behavioural disorders, pain, etc.).
Noting that no tablet or mobile application had as yet been designed for people with severe mental disabilities, the Réseau-Lucioles in 2016 decided to develop its own Tab'Lucioles application to strengthen links between carers and highly dependent receivers of care. With this app, the care beneficiary's tablet becomes a tool for sharing photos, videos, music and content in order to boost relationships and foster unique, individualised support.
Employees involved in the skill sponsorship programme to redesign the Tab'Lucioles website
With its expertise in user experience (UX), the Inetum Group decided to offer the support of volunteer employees to redesign the Tab'Lucioles website and application. Several Group employees based at Inetum’s offices in the Lille metropolis wished to take part in this skills sponsorship programme. For the past two years, these employees have been dedicating part of their working time to this project. As a result, a new website and application available in stores was rolled out in December 2022.
Thierry Rigaud, Vice-President and Head of the North & East regions for Inetum in France, comments : “We are delighted to support the Réseau-Lucioles association through this skills sponsorship programme. Our expert community has risen to the challenge to make the Tab'Lucioles website more user-friendly to meet users' needs as effectively as possible.”
“Participating in a project like Tab'Lucioles gives real meaning to my job. I am thrilled to able to contribute to the development of a platform that will benefit people with disabilities and their loved ones,” says Marc Splingart, an analyst who has been working at Inetum in Lille for the past 12 years.
This skills sponsorship programme continues with the maintenance and adaptation of the Tab'Lucioles website and the mobile application. Inetum’s volunteer employees plan to continue supporting the Lucioles network this year.
