Lead the FinOps strategy and operating model, defining the governance, processes and practices that enable visibility, control and financial optimization of cloud consumption across infrastructure, applications, products, services and workloads.

You will promote alignment between IT, Finance, Application teams and business areas, supporting decision-making, cost accountability and the continued development of FinOps maturity.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the FinOps governance framework and operating model.
• Lead discovery, assessment and FinOps model design workshops.
• Define Business Dimensions, cost allocation models and accountability principles across applications, products, services, workloads and business areas.
• Structure KPIs, executive dashboards, budgets, forecasts and showback/chargeback models.
• Relate cloud infrastructure and service costs to applications, workloads, usage patterns and business value.
• Identify and prioritize optimization initiatives and support decisions on reservations and commitments, considering cost, performance and application criticality.
• Define and monitor the FinOps roadmap and evolution backlog.
• Lead FinOps ceremonies and cadences, ensuring alignment across IT, Finance, Application teams and business areas.
• Translate business and Finance needs into functional requirements for implementation by technical teams.

• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Governance, FinOps or IT Financial Management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
• Demonstrated experience in Budgeting and Forecasting, Showback and Chargeback, and Business Cases and financial/economic analysis.
• Experience in Cost Allocation and defining Business Dimensions.
• Experience analyzing costs and consumption drivers by application, product, service or workload.
• Experience with TCO and unit economics applied to cloud services and workloads.
• Experience conducting FinOps Maturity Assessments and defining maturity roadmaps.
• Experience with reservations, commitments and cloud financial optimization models.
• Ability to interact and communicate with CIO and CFO stakeholders, Cloud and Application teams, Finance and business areas.

Additional Valued Experience

• Experience in Enterprise or multicloud environments.
