Becoming a great company

In 1970 Gfi Informatique was founded as a computer engineering services company, focusing on technical assistance and software development for companies.

During the 1990s-2000s the company continued to grow and develop both locally and internationally. Between 2011 and 2024, the group went through an intense period of transformative acquisitions, with Gfi Informatique being rebranded to Inetum in 2021.

A new financial partnership with Bain Capital Private Equity occurred in 2022, along with the arrival of a new Chairman and CEO, Jacques Pommeraud in March 2023.
