Inetum maintains its leadership in business digital transformation with the first implementation in Portugal, on the public Cloud, of SAP SuccessFactors Payroll.

The implementation of this project started in August 2019, at Natixis, a branch of the international corporate investment banking and financial services division of Groupe BPCE - Banque Populaire & Caisse d’Epargne, the second largest banking group in France.

The project at Natixis Portugal already completed the go-live of the SAP salary processing solution - SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Cloud. This go-live allowed the company to process the salaries for January 2020 by using the new software. Of the planned projects, the first to be completed were the implementation of the Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll modules.

The initial goal to process the salary transfers for Natixis employees in January 2020 was achieved. More projects will follow, with the implementation of more modules for SAP Cloud SuccessFactors.

The SAP Cloud SuccessFactors solution represents the new identity of Natixis’s Human Resources and provides its employees with a self-service platform to check and update personal and organisational data, request and approve vacations or other types of absences, and check pay slips or income statements. The information is automatically integrated with the salary processing component, which uses personal, organisational and time information to calculate the remuneration and create the file for the bank transfer.

The implementation covered around 900 active Natixis workers, around 400 of which are external. Users can access the system as of January 6th. In the first week of use, over 20 admissions, 200 absence registrations and hundreds of queries were performed.

Francisco Febrero, Corporate VP & CEO, SAP BL Head of Portugal at Inetum, clarifies that “This pioneer project, executed by Inetum, is an important milestone in the transition of SAP human capital management solutions to the Cloud, and this first go-live proves how suitable this Cloud Payroll solution is for Portugal.”
