Inetum and UPM renew their collaboration agreement with the Chair in IT Business and Digitization

The rector of the UPM, Guillermo Cisneros, and the general director of Inetum in Iberia Latam, Carlos Muñoz, have updated the agreement by which the technology consultancy consolidates its collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Inetum consolidates its collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid, through the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineers, in training activities, generation of knowledge and promotion of R & D & I in an area as important economically and socially as It is the IT and Digitization Business.

The Inetum Chair in IT Business and Digitization, with its permanent vocation of contact with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and its firm will to be involved in training, knowledge generation and talent promotion activities, seeks to bridge the gap between academic training and development of professional skills. With this purpose, through the Chair, specific programs, seminars and conferences are developed at the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineers that allow students to access the professional certifications most demanded by technology companies (Agile, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Java development, Blockchain) while allowing them to know the work development of their knowledge.

For the rector of the UPM, Guillermo Cisneros , the renewal of this agreement means "the ratification of the mutual trust that has existed for many years between both entities." The agreement also confirms Inetum's commitment to Inetum (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance), a project led by the Polytechnic University of Madrid that belongs to the "European Universities" initiative promoted by the EC, with the aim of implementing a model common European engineer embedded in society, capable of providing sustainable solutions to major social challenges.

The Inetum Chair in IT Business and Digital Transformation has a space on the Montegancedo Campus, a forum to promote the exchange of knowledge among the students of the School themselves, as well as with experts from the technology consultancy.
