Barcelona, April 4, 2022 - "Gazelle" companies created more than 385,000 jobs in Spain between 2019 and 2022, according to the Cotec Foundation, which presented the Gazelle Companies Observatory, organized by Barcelona Activa and held at the MediaTIC Building in the Catalan capital. The event was attended by the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, who wanted to highlight the role of the public sector as an entrepreneur: "The public sector has played host to many activities, business initiatives of many types, which have talent as a common denominator and, as a horizon, this ability to innovate".

Talent and innovation were discussed at the round table moderated by Itziar Blasco, Director of Entrepreneurship at Barcelona Activa, with the participation of Víctor Cruz, Director of Public Affairs and Strategy at FI Group; Denia Martínez, CEO and Vice President of Grupo Carinsa; and Josep Aracil, Director of Government and Public Services at Inetum.

Regarding innovation as a lever for growth, Aracil insisted that technology and innovation are part of the core of the Inetum group and also a key element in the strategic development of growth. Inetum's Director of Government and Public Services highlighted the current importance of Generative AI, "a disruptive technology that will allow us to be more efficient in the development of our capabilities and also provide more knowledge and value proposition to our customers". Talent, innovation, and internationalization are the three vectors discussed at this round table, as well as the need to adapt to market changes and continue investing in the future to keep growing.
