Inetum, SAP Spain and the University of Valencia launch an official SAP BTP certification to meet the demand for qualified profiles.

With the aim of training students for a booming profession, Inetum, a leading European digital services and solutions company, SAP Spain and the University of Valencia have developed a joint certification on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). 

SAP BTP is an innovation platform optimized for SAP applications in the cloud, enabling application development, data management, planning and analysis, integration, automation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. It is an intuitive and modern development environment for professional developers. In this sense, the SAP BTP consultant profile is one of the most demanded and scarce in the labor market, in addition to having a significantly higher salary band, compared to equivalent positions in other technologies.

Thus, the lack of profiles specifically trained in this technology has prompted the creation of this educational program that starts the first call in January 2024 and will have expert teachers from Inetum.

Mercedes Barrachina, director of the Master SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling at the University of Valencia, highlights that "this SAP training program has a unique approach and is part of the vision of the University of Valencia to create a thriving SAP ecosystem where students and professionals can connect from the start."

The program, which lasts four months (January to May 2024), is aimed at recent university and vocational training graduates and technology-loving professionals who already have previous programming knowledge and want to make the leap into the SAP world. Upon completion, students will be certified as SAP Certified Development Associate in SAP Extension Suite and SAP Integration Suite.

Students who pass the certification and fit the profiles that Inetum needs will have the opportunity to join the company, classified as a "SAP Gold Partner" and leader in innovation and digital transformation in SAP technologies, with more than 2,700 SAP consultants and projects in 60 countries.
