Inetum's cloud platform helps to process the grants of the Kit Digital program

The Spanish Chamber of Commerce is one of the entities that is collaborating with Red.es to optimize access to the Digital Kit program grants for the digitization of SMEs and freelancers.  For its part, Inetum, a leading European company in digital services and solutions, is positioned as a preferred partner in the public sector with its e-government solutions.

Inetum's add-in solution, specialized in e-administration, has helped to process part of the grants of the Digital Kit program. This platform has accelerated the processing of these European aids aimed at the digitization of SMEs and self-employed.

Kit Digital is a program of the Government of Spain managed by Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence that aims to promote the digital transformation of small businesses, microenterprises and self-employed with less than 50 employees. It is funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and is endowed with a budget of 3,067 million euros through the Next Generation EU Funds.

Inetum Spain has implemented a cloud platform, with a high degree of automation and scalability, which allows to carry out processes such as the management of agreements and vouchers, justifications, payments, reimbursements, user service and custody of aid documentation, among others, in an agile and secure manner.

Inetum's platform was implemented and put into operation in just eight weeks to respond to the first call for funds distribution. "Becoming an ally of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and, therefore, of Red.es", says Josep Aracil, Group VP and Director of Government and Public Services at Inetum in Spain, "consolidates us as a preferred partner in the public sector and positions our e-administration platform Add-in as one of the reference solutions to automate processes, reduce bureaucratic burden, shorten deadlines...".

In addition, both companies highlight the specific characteristics of the sector to which the grants are addressed, which will benefit from the implementation of solutions with a high degree of automation -close to 100% in some of the processes-, as well as the implementation of innovative elements within the architecture and the planned solutions.
