Press Release

Creation date :

The company, a leader in digital services and solutions, plans to incorporate some 2,300 technological profiles in Spain throughout 2023. In addition, it is strengthening its collaboration with training centres and universities, incorporating more than 500 interns in the first five months of the year.

After carrying out one of the largest recruitment plans in the sector in 2022, with 7,000 positions (of which more than 2,100 were in Spain), Inetum continues with the objective of attracting and retaining new talent in 2023: in Spain, it plans to incorporate a further 2,300 technological profiles, of which more than 1,181 have already done so in the first five months of the year. Inetum is thus boosting recruitment in a sector, the ICT sector, which has experienced unprecedented growth in recruitment needs, in line with the acceleration of the digitisation of companies and digital uses.

"We want to continue to maintain this high level of recruitment: the sector needs it, so we are very proud to be able to continue to grow and consolidate our position as an employer of reference in the country. More than ever, we need IT and digital experts who are able to adapt and integrate the best strategies and solutions into the unique ecosystem of each of our clients," says Monica Herrero, People & Talent Director at Inetum in Iberia & Latam.

In fact, Inetum is committed to offering the best experience to its professionals, having been recognised in this respect with the Top Employer 2023 certification (both in the Spain and Europe categories), through a series of programmes such as WOW (New Way Of Working), a hybrid and flexible model that seeks to combine the best of both worlds (teleworking and on-site), offer new multifunctional work environments that encourage creativity and collaboration, and allow our professionals to reconcile their professional activity and their personal wellbeing. Our priority is to ensure that the experience of talent is adapted to their expectations and to the current reality, making a difference with respect to the market," explains Herrero.

Commitment to the engineers of the future

The ICT sector is experiencing significant growth in line with the accelerating digitization of companies and the daily use of digital technology, which has a direct impact on recruitment needs. In this constantly evolving context, the recruitment and retention of talent is a main objective for Inetum, which seeks the necessary skills in all digital professions, including emerging ones, and with all types of profiles, to which it offers a wide variety of projects and multiple opportunities thanks to its multi-sector and ultra-local approach, covering the entire IT and digital value chain.

And as for young talent, Inetum has several initiatives focused on them.  The most outstanding is the Inetum Chair in IT Business and Digitalisation at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in which professionals from the company teach and collaborate in specialised courses and workshops.

With this type of initiative, Inetum seeks to reinforce its commitment to talent and university training, in addition to transferring the vision demanded by customers and society to the classroom. Throughout this year, it has already added 7 profiles from this Chair to its staff so far, with the plan to increase this figure in the coming months.
