Water utility company Farys selects Inetum for IT and infrastructure services under a €33 million framework agreement

Inetum, a leading European provider of digital services, has been appointed to provide ICT audits, architecture design, managed services, and workplace support under a framework agreement with the Flemish drinking water utility company Farys and the central purchasing agency CREAT.

The agreement represents a maximum potential total value of €33 million over the 8-year contract term. Through CREAT, hospitals, cities and municipalities, police districts, and various local governments in Flanders and Brussels can also make use of Inetum’s services.

Under this agreement, Inetum supports organizations with everything from strategic consulting and architectural design to implementation, day-to-day management, and workplace support. This gives public organizations a single partner for the entire IT process, rather than separate contracts for each phase or need.

Both Farys and the many organizations that can join through CREAT are receiving access to the expertise of Inetum’s consultants. The digital service provider has had a strong presence in the public and utilities sectors for many years.

“This framework agreement reaffirms our position as a strategic partner in the utilities sector,” says Thomas Breuer, General Manager of Inetum Belgium. “In a market where access to the ecosystem is increasingly facilitated through framework agreements, this is an important step toward further solidifying our role and creating sustainable value for public organizations in Flanders and Brussels.”
