OUR CLIMATE TRAJECTORY, ALIGNED WITH SCIENCE

At Inetum, we believe that digital technology must be a driver of sustainable transformation. In response to the climate emergency, we have defined an ambitious trajectory to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the latest scientific knowledge.

Climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative

Inetum’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in April 2026.

SBTi has validated Inetum’s near-term targets, confirming their alignment with a trajectory consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

NET-ZERO OBJETIVE

Inetum is committed to achieving a science-based net-zero target across its entire value chain by 2040. This objective is aligned with the SBTi Net-Zero Standard and is based on the definition and progressive validation of long-term emission reduction targets in line with its criteria.

Short-term targets (validated by SBTi for 2030)

  • 42% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions (baseline year: 2023);
  • 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions (covering capital goods, energy-related activities, business travel, and employee commuting);
  • 76% of suppliers (by spend) engaged in an SBTi-aligned trajectory by 2030.

Long-term targets (Net-Zero trajectory)

  • 90% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions;
  • 90% reduction in Scope 3 emissions.

A structured, Group-driven trajectory

Inetum has structured its climate strategy around a comprehensive trajectory covering all its activities and its entire value chain, based on the international GHG Protocol framework.

This trajectory is built on:

  • a 2023 baseline year
  • Group-level steering
  • a scope covering all emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3)

Governance is ensured by the Group ESG Leader and the Chief Financial Officer, with validation by the Executive Committee and regular monitoring of performance indicators.

Concrete actions to reduce our impact

Inetum’s decarbonization strategy is based on operational levers deployed across all Group
countries:

  • Energy transition
  • Low-carbon mobility
  • Energy efficiency in offices
  • Circular economy and responsible digital practices
  • Value chain engagement

Measuring, managing and improving

Inetum measures and publishes its greenhouse gas emissions and environmental indicators annually.

Key indicators include:

  • 49% reduction in emissions per employee since 2019
  • 69% of employees trained on environmental issues in 2025
  • Monitoring of emissions across all scopes (1, 2, and 3)

These indicators enable continuous performance management and ongoing adjustment of actions.

A collective commitment

The success of our climate trajectory relies on the engagement of all our stakeholders:

  • employees, through awareness programs and concrete actions;
  • suppliers, aligned with demanding ESG standards;
  • clients, supported in their own transition.

Inetum also deploys local initiatives in many countries (reforestation, site clean-ups, awareness campaigns), illustrating the collective dimension of its climate commitment.

A climate strategy embedded in our ESG ambition

Climate change is a key issue identified in Inetum’s double materiality assessment, alongside social and governance topics.

Our ESG strategy aims to:

  • reduce our environmental footprint;
  • support our clients in their transition;
  • create sustainable value for all stakeholders.
