Press Release
Creation date :
Valencia, June 20, 2023.
The agreement arises to meet the increasing demand from companies for this type of high-impact profession and jointly launch the Master in Full Stack Development.
Jobs related to web development and programming will grow 23% until 2031, according to the US Bureau of Labor, while the average rate is 5% for the rest of the professions. In Spain, the increase in the creation of companies related to this sector compared to 2009 is 71%, according to the SEPE's Market Trends in Spain 2023 Report. In the digital era, these professionals have become a profile with a great focus of demand.
In this context, IEM Digital Business School and Inetum have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of providing training in development and programming. To this end, they have launched the master's degree in full stack development, specialized in technologies and languages most used by companies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript node.JS, etc., and frameworks such as Springboot and Angular.
With this Master's Degree, "we want to bring the world of development and programming to people who are not even considering it right now, and we do it with all the guarantees, thanks to the support of Inetum. We are sure that our students will have within their reach the future they are imagining," says Carmen Tarín, General Director of IEM Digital Business School.
"Inetum is focused on bringing real and tangible value to our clients, on continuing to grow as an organization and on expanding our capabilities through our expert professionals. Digitalization, although it is already a reality, will have an even greater impact on our daily lives in the coming years. In this sense, being able to collaborate with IEM Digital Business School, through this Master in Full Stack Development allows us to reinforce our commitment to the generation of valuable employment in the Valencian Community and the impact that this generates in the industrial fabric and business activity of the territory", says Antonio Carmona, Head of Inetum in Levante and Balearic Islands.
This training is different from what is currently on the market, which does not require prior knowledge, but is based on the real needs of companies. "The content has not been designed as a typical development master's degree, but rather we get right into programming through concepts such as Java, Front or Back", emphasizes the director of the master's degree and senior manager of Application Services Levante & CIS Catalonia at Inetum, Juan Fernández.
Professional opportunities
This specialized training allows access to a powerful internship program, totally focused on hiring in leading companies in the sector such as Inetum, which has been experiencing strong growth in Valencia in recent years.
For her part, Mónica Herrero, Head of People at Inetum for Iberia & Latam highlights "Through this agreement with IEM, we offer a collaboration framework in which students can complete their training and gain experience through innovative challenges and real projects, in which they will have to apply the knowledge obtained and, thanks to which they will expand their professional profile. A profile that, being already relevant today, will be one of the most demanded in the coming years". Currently, the demand for programmers and web developers is present in all sectors, not only in IT companies, but also in banking, for example, it is a profile highly sought after in digital marketing agencies, in marketplace projects, in online media, and others.
After completing the Master's Degree and internships, graduates will have the opportunity to work as a web developer, computer programmer, full stack developer, front-end developer, back-end developer or IT consultant.
