“Inetum, a Partner Capable of Covering the Entire Microsoft Portfolio”

Laura Sanz, Global Marketing Offer Manager (Microsoft at Inetum), details the company's expertise in Microsoft solutions and its development strategy in Europe.

Specifically, what is Inetum's expertise with Microsoft solutions?

Inetum has been partnering with Microsoft for over 22 years. Today, we have around 300 dedicated consultants and more than 3,000 accreditations in Microsoft technologies.

Our strength lies in covering all six Microsoft solution categories: the work environment with Teams and Microsoft 365, business applications with Dynamics (ERP and CRM, Power Platform, etc.), cybersecurity, Azure Data & AI, Azure Infrastructure for data hosting, and finally application modernization.

Microsoft recognizes us with 11 specializations out of around 20 available, which is quite commendable. For example, we have an SAP specialization on Azure. We have supported 3,000 clients of all sizes on these different technology stacks.

What value does Inetum bring to Microsoft and its customers?

We are a one-stop shop partner for Microsoft. Why? Because we cover the entire value proposition: from purchasing and reselling (we act as an intermediary for our customers) to managed services, consulting, and integration. This is in line with Microsoft's vision: we are the customer's single point of contact. We can offer them products that suit their needs and ensure that we can integrate them into their IT landscape in the best possible way.

Our primary strength is our local presence and proximity to our customers, which allows us to work closely with them and tailor solutions to their needs.

Secondly, Microsoft is not necessarily as well-positioned as we are to serve smaller customers and thus relies on partners such as Inetum. We have the advantage in the mid-market of being a credible player: we are large enough to guarantee quality delivery while also having a local presence, with agencies that maintain a genuine relationship of trust with SMEs throughout France.

How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors?

When it comes to being a one-stop shop, we are one of the few players able to cover the entire Microsoft portfolio and offer purchase and resale, consulting, integration, and managed services. That's significant. Microsoft's strategy is a platform strategy. Microsoft's strength lies in its ability to use all of its solutions and integrate them with each other. If we take each solution separately, it will have less impact for our customers. If we can take the work environment, add AI elements, add cybersecurity, and host it all on Azure, the whole thing will be much more effective.

Compared to other large integrators, what sets us apart is our proximity to smaller customers, our ability to offer hyper-personalization, and our agile and flexible delivery model, which is close to our customers and not offshore. We talk to our customers every day!
