Acquisition of Roff: Gfi Informatique gains strength in SAP solutions

Saint-Ouen (France), 7 November 2016 - Gfi Informatique, a major player in digital services and solutions, today announces the acquisition of the Roff group. Through this transaction, the group becomes a major player in the SAP solutions implementation and maintenance market and gains access to several prestigious accounts.

With more than 800 employees, Roff ranks among the top European players in the SAP solutions integration and maintenance market. The group, whose prestigious clients include EDP, Givaudan and Solvay, expects to generate revenues of more than 60 M€ in 2016. Based in Portugal, Roff has exported its expertise and today nearly half of its sales are to foreign clients, mostly in Switzerland, France, Northern Europe, and Latin America. The company’s organization, with close to 90% of its production resources spread among its Portuguese facilities, allows the group to propose an offer that is competitive in terms of both quality and price. The group has also developed specialist expertise around the Outsystem platform.

With this acquisition, Gfi Informatique now has more than 1,000 employees worldwide dedicated to SAP technologies and unified under the Roff banner.

With the acquisition of Efron, a Spanish IT company, which was announced last week, this transaction doubles Gfi’s revenues in Iberia to more than 200 M€ and simultaneously opens the doors to the Americas, with more than 12 M€ in sales to Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. Those two operations should also contribute to the improvement of Iberia profitability.
