Gfi Informatique announces the acquisition of the French company, SIS, the leader in emergency management software. SIS has notably developed two solutions that dominate the French market. The first is an emergency call regulation solution used by the SAMU, the French emergency services operator. The second manages the fire brigade’s alert, operational management and decision support systems.

More recently, building on its experience, the company has also developed an alert and emergency operational management solution for sensitive sites, such as “Seveso” sites, including public transport (railway stations, airports, etc.) and, more generally, for all utilities. This solution perfectly meets the new expectations of Utilities in the security and emergency fields.

The company generates revenue of around €13 million and has a workforce of around 80 people.

With this acquisition, Gfi Informatique has a triple ambition:

  • Strengthen its software offer for the Public Sector and benefit from commercial synergies,
  • Step up the company’s development in France and abroad, for its entire product range,
  • Reinforce the Group’s offer in the field of smart cities.

“We are delighted to welcome SIS, the leader in its sector, to our Software Business Line. We were impressed by both the quality of the products and the management team and are convinced that we can help the company to grow significantly, especially abroad,” commented Vincent Rouaix, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gfi Informatique.

“The whole team is delighted to join Gfi Informatique with whom, we are convinced, we will be able to open a new page in the company’s history by developing new products and new geographies,” said SIS CEO Serge-Alexis Caumon.
