To support this evolution, Erri Berri partnered with Inetum in 2024 to implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, laying the groundwork for a unified, scalable, and future-ready operating model that supports efficiency, transparency, and continued growth.
Erri Berri is a family-owned company with over 35 years of experience in the construction sector. It operates across the Iberian Peninsula, southern France, Switzerland, and northern Morocco. Its core business is deconstruction, including demolition and waste management, as well as road maintenance, asphalt production and construction. With 150 employees, 7 companies, and 15 active joint ventures, Erri Berri is a leader in the demolition sector in Spain, managing a complex and growing operation.
Although Erri Berri consistently invests in heavy machinery and operational growth, it also wanted to lead in digital infrastructure—moving toward an integrated, scalable solution to manage operations across multiple countries and tax jurisdictions.
Erri Berri’s leadership made a bold decision: to implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The perception that SAP is only for large enterprises didn’t deter them—especially since their main clients are large companies. After a thorough market evaluation, they chose SAP for its robustness and best practices, and selected Inetum as their implementation partner. The goal was clear: adopt a standardized cloud solution that could scale with the business.
The project began in January 2024 and went live in July 2024—on time and within budget. A dedicated internal team of six people (from finance, technical, and project management areas) led the effort, balancing their daily responsibilities with the demands of the implementation process.
