Mission

About the Team/Tribe: The international team will be composed of IT Analysts, Developers, Test Engineers and Test Automation Engineers, Architects and IT Ops. The Team will be in charge of modernizing the application for the Cloud, then handing back to the product owner and maintainer of those applications.

The “Move to Cloud Program”, on which the tribe works on, aims to move approximately 80 Applications to the dedicated cloud of the group (IBM hybrid cloud) over the next 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be working on moving/refactoring legacy services to microservices/applications to microservices on cloud.
• You develop and unit test Java-based software components.
• Ensuring code meets internal quality standards (SonarQube and IQServer security gates)
• You coordinate and debug the resolution of technical issues and analyze root cause of problems.
• Participate, peer and engineering reviews.
• Participate, when needed, in higher-level testing (integration, verification, validation)

Profile

• You want to get involved in a company project strongly oriented towards collaboration and self-management
• You will be able to work autonomously
• You have experience in most of the following technical areas:
  • Java (17+)
  • Spring Boot 3+
  • API REST and SOAP API
  • DB / SQL
  • Good Understanding and Experience on Kafka, ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana)
  • Good understanding and Experience on DDD (Domain Driven Design) with CQRS
  • You know software engineering fundamentals and best practices, and apply them: object-orientation, SOLID principles, design patterns, unit testing/mocks, continuous integration, code versioning (Git), Agile
  • Follow Clean code standards using SonarQube and resolve Vulnerabilities using IQ Nexus

Knowledge in the following technologies is a plus:

• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
