Mission

As a junior bid manager you will learn how to create winning proposals for our customers.  You will support experienced bid managers on complex opportunities and work independently for simple requests. You will be coached on the job to continuously evolve.

Your objective is to produce a winning proposal, in close collaboration with sales, product experts, solution architects, project managers. As a junior Bid Manager, you manage a bid as a small project, you assess the risks and maximize the win chances, you are responsible for the quality of the commercial proposal.

This includes following roles & responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the resources to produce the proposal within time and budget, keeping Inetum and customers’ interests in the right balance
  • Learn and apply relevant bid processes
  • Prepare the bid plan and make sure the administrative side of the bid is covered
  • Contribute to the written proposal and any required approvals
  • Ensure risks are assessed
  • Compile all offer elements (including pricing)
  • Ensure the proposal is compliant from a commercial, legal and administrative perspective and submitted to the customer
  • Improve the proposal (layout and commercial language)
  • Create re-usable texts

Profile

  • Bachelor or master degree
  • Strong affinity with IT
  • Able to work in a structured and project based way
  • Good Communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Customer-oriented
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good commercial flair
  • Able to manage time according to priorities and deadlines
  • Result driven
  • Be proactive, make things happen!
  • Languages:
    • Dutch or French as mother tongue, the other language proficient
    • English: proficient
