Mission

The Mobility Manager is responsible for designing, planning, directing, coordinating and supervising the programs for selection, acquisition (or leasing) and assignment of a range of mobility options and service providers. The goal is to meet the overall employee’s needs, to optimize the financial impact for both employee and employer and to minimize the ecological footprint of the company. This includes the application of the Federal Mobility Budget.

The Mobility Manager is also the policy coordinator and primary contact for vehicle fleet with its related electrification items and mobility budget. You report to the business support manager.

Job Description

  • Implement and maintain the mobility strategy of the company with a focus on new transportation developments (such as electrification) that support a more disperse way of working (combination of home, office, customer).
  • Create and manage mobility policies.
  • Operate in a cost efficient and effective way by elaborating local partnerships in relation to the company’s transportation needs, incl. contract negotiations and collaborate on the mobility budget.
  • Define, setup, administrate and supervise the fleet of vehicles (1200 cars) and other mobility assets
    • Selection of most appropriate assets
    • Calculation of total cost of ownership
    • Recording accurate data for administration, analyzing and reporting purposes
    • Optimize usage of assets (such as minimizing number of parking cars, guaranteeing timely replacement of cars, administrating utility vehicles).
  • Define and maintain different mobility solutions in collaboration with dedicated partners (such as public transport, car sharing, bike sharing).
  • Generate reports on consumption or usage and evolution of assets
    • Incl. optimizing performance of mobility assets (separate or in a combined solution) by analyzing data
    • Incl. management reporting
    • Incl. specialized reporting to related services such as HR, facilities, postal service, reception, insurance company, road assistance company, etc.).
  • Follow-up legislation on taxation and mobility.
  • Setup different structured ways of internal communications about the mobility topics (portal, yammer, ..).
  • Collaborate with the team by also performing operational tasks to support the employees like card management (fuel/charging pass), fleet logistics, managing parking subscriptions, scheduling driver performance optimization courses,….

Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in mobility, economics and proven experience in the new world of mobility and have a genuine interest in the various aspects within the automobile world and mobility in general.
  • The capacity to implement the mobility policy consistently and also to communicate in an assertive and respectful manner, taking into account the personal sensitivities and emotions of the employee.
  • Contract negotiation skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • An analytical mindset that helps you in reporting and managing budgets.
  • The skills to work in an autonomous way.
  • A constructive way of dealing with situations under pressure, setting the right priorities is not an issue for you.
  • The capability to work with confidential data in a discrete manner.
  • Good language skills: fluency in NL, FR, EN (both written and oral).
