Mission

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in semantic model creation to join our Business Intelligence team. You will play a key role in the migration of semantic cubes and fact, contributing to a broader digital transformation initiative in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of tabular cubes to semantic models.
• Design and implement star schema models and semantic layers.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability of BI architecture.
• Create and manage Power BI Workspaces and Apps with appropriate access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a robust Business Intelligence platform.

Profile

Must-Have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Semantic Models.
• Proven experience in migrating Tabular Cubes to Semantic Models.
• Strong knowledge of star schema modeling.
• Proficiency in TMDL (Tabular Model Definition Language).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Power BI deployment using Azure DevOps.
• Power BI report development skills.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and/or Databricks.

Education & Certifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.
• 5 to 20 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.

Soft Skills

• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to defend technical decisions and communicate effectively.
• Capable of estimating workload and providing visibility on progress.

Languages

• English: Required
• French: Appreciated
