Mission

Job Description:

  • Shared Data Ecosystem (SDE) is an ITG-ITTF department hosting various applications relating to the “filière unique program” in charge of collecting Accounting and Risk data from local entities in a unique stream through several application (Universal Plug application, One Financial Solution application…). The aim is to share the data in a Datawarehouse named (SRS : Shared Reporting Space) to provide regulatory reporting.
  • The candidate will join ITG-ITTF SDE Capital Reporting Systems which oversees SRS (Shared Reporting Space) Capital / IFRS9.
  • The “Capital Reporting Systems” domain works on multiple projects (Credit Risk, IFRS9, FINREP, BASEL4, Equity Risk, Operational Risk, …) ranging from the implementation of reporting solutions to access to different data for users (80%) and will ensure production monitoring and will provide support activities in case of incident/requests from internals clients (20%) during closing periods. The activities will mainly consist in analyzing, production piloting/monitoring, ensure support, documenting and release developments in production using standards technologies (around SQL & PYTHON).
  • The candidate will be fully integrated in the support team located in Paris, Lisboa and Porto.  The position requires high reactivity and reporting skills to follow the IT activities/incidents, a strong analytical capacity, and a real appetite for the functional understanding of the tools (Financial/Credit risks) and a strong skill on SQL/Python language.
  • The position will lead to develop knowledges on various financial process around reporting activities as well as  information system within a motivating environment.
  • The team will be an extended team between Porto, Lisboa and Paris. Your contact partners will be qualified experts.

  • Understanding business processes and issues
  • Be a proposal force to design innovative solutions to allow the most advanced automation of reporting processes
  • Contribute to the validation of the product with end users, taking care to check their adherence at each stage
  • Contribute to change management and support the users
  • Monitoring treatment progress and provide user support during closing periods
  • Be an actor in an agile organization by actively contributing to rituals, definition and prioritization of backlogs and continuous team improvement.

 

Profile

Technical skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or Economics
  • Relevant professional experience as Business Analyst in Financial/Reporting Industry (5 - 7 years)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
  • Previous banking experience is a plus.

Language skills:

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory;
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
