We are seeking a highly experienced Senior COBOL Developer to join our team in maintaining and evolving critical legacy systems. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in COBOL technologies and a passion for delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, and CICS COBOL Online (including screens and maps).
• Perform system analysis and design to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
• Conduct program unit testing and system integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Handle sequential file processing and batch operations.
• Utilize development tools such as Visual COBOL and Eclipse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and promote best development practices.

Profile

• Minimum 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online, and sequential file handling.
• Over 5 years of experience in system analysis and design.
• Proven experience with Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tools.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting is a plus.
• Strong experience in unit testing and system integration testing (minimum 5 years).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and results-oriented mindset.
