Your Responsibilities in This Role:
- Requirement gathering and analysis - Understand business requirements and translate them into ITOM solutions. Analyze existing IT operations processes to identify opportunities.
- Implementation of ITOM Solutions - Configure and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules, such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and Cloud Management. Design and deploy Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) to ensure accurate and reliable asset and configuration data.
- Technical expertise - Use best practices for ITOM implementations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Collaboration and communication - Provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Continuous improvement - Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and leverage new features to be able to enhance ITOM capabilities, review and optimize ITOM implementations to improve performance.
- Client relationship - Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business challenges and delivering impactful solutions.
- Be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
- BSc or MSc in IT, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with operating systems administration – Windows, UNIX/Linux
- Proficiency with SQL and database technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell or others.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team work, responsibility, effective communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail.
Desirable Skills (Considered a Plus):
- Experience in IT and/or a customer-facing consulting role.
- Exposure to working with enterprise-level customers.
- Any ServiceNow ITOM trainings and certifications.
- Understanding the concept around Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
- Experience with any cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP or VMware.
- Knowledge around 3rd party tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, HPE/OpenText.
- JavaScript courses and/or certifications.
