Inetum strengthens Technologies Leadership Team in Belgium with three appointments

Inetum, European market leader in digital services, announces three appointments within its Technologies Leadership Team in Belgium. Serge Vandenhoudt is appointed Director Technologies, Katja Smith assumes the role of Business Unit Lead Infrastructure Services and Manu Van de Vliet joins as Business Unit Lead Value Added Resell (VAR). The Technologies Division has historically been the strongest pillar of Inetum Belgium, and with these appointments, the company intends to further strengthen and expand that leading position.

New appointments in line with strategic ambitions

Serge Vandenhoudt expands his responsibilities as Deputy CEO at Inetum Belgium with the role of Director Technologies. With an impressive career in global leadership positions at The Adecco Group, Akkodis and T-Systems, among others, Serge brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Inetum. In his new role, Serge will drive the strategic direction of Technologies, with a focus on three priorities: further expanding cloud solutions, strengthening Inetum's expertise in cybersecurity, and deploying bestshoring - a flexible mix of local and nearshore solutions within Europe.

Katja Smith is appointed Business Unit Lead Infrastructure Services, the department within Technologies responsible for outsourcing IT profiles and services to more than 750 clients. With 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including the past seven years at Inetum as Senior Delivery Manager, Katja brings deep knowledge and an authentic leadership style to her new role. Outsourcing is an essential building block of Inetum's services, and under Katja's leadership, these offerings will continue to evolve into a modern, high-performing and people-focused organization that is responsive to customers' rapidly changing needs.

Manu Van de Vliet joins as Business Unit Lead Value Added Resell (VAR) effective May 19, 2025. In addition to his two years as Partner and Distribution lead at Netapp, Manu also brings 11 years of experience as EMEA Partner Sales Director and Global Account Director at Dell and a proven track record in partner and channel sales. Resell is a strategic growth area for Inetum Belgium, with strong relationships with key partners and a solid portfolio of framework contracts. Manu will further strengthen this position with his commercial expertise and market insight. Both Katja and Manu report directly to Serge Vandenhoudt.
