Press Release

Release date :

The 8 Moroccan finalists of the WIA54 2021 program will present their projects this Thursday, June 9 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the headquarters of the CGEM (General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises) in Casablanca. This evening brings together WIA partners, business personalities, investors and bankers to meet the support needs of these projects carried by a dynamic female entrepreneurship in Morocco and on the African continent. Inetum, a leader in digital services and solutions, and a historical sponsor of Women In Africa, continues its commitment to support this program by opening the doors of its FabLab in Casablanca and accompanying a Moroccan winner for 6 months.

Inetum has been a historical sponsor of Women in Africa for 6 years. "As the first actor of the digital proximity in Africa for more than 15 years, the support of Inetum to the WIA54 program is naturally in line with our will to accompany the digital transition in Africa. We wish to promote the professional integration of African women in the economic development of a continent in full technological transformation", explains Hugues Ruffat, Corporate VP, Head of Global Area EEMEA of Inetum.

Inetum supports WIA Philanthropy by selecting and rewarding digital projects that have a positive impact on society. For the second year in a row, the ESN offers a training program, the "Inetum Open Training", to raise awareness of digitalization among the WIA community, through a series of webinars focused on a tech topic: smart city, e-commerce, innovation.

This year, Inetum continues its commitment by participating in the WIA54 mentoring program in order to bring its expertise to Yasmine Jtioui, founder of the start-up Jobwinwin, which has created an application that facilitates meetings between candidates and recruiters based on the principle of "matching", like a dating application. A project that creates value for the economy since it puts employment at the center of development.

Yasmine Jtioui benefited from a 6-month coaching at the FabLab Inetum in Casablanca with clear objectives that respect the mentoring charter established by WIA. Accompanied by Imad Haddour, Africa Area General Manager of Inetum, the winner benefited from this mentoring program that allows to follow the development of the project by providing strategic and technological expertise to accelerate its market launch. This accompaniment also includes personal coaching to support and encourage the winner in the various stages of her project, including the presentation pitch to the CGEM.

"Our FabLab is a place dedicated to innovation that allows us to respond to new needs and imagine the solutions of tomorrow by relying on the latest technologies. It is a perfect innovation center to stimulate the mind and host a mentoring program based on listening and sharing. Jobwinwin is a virtuous project that interested us for several reasons: in addition to being innovative, simple and job-creating, it is in line with our activity, as it is based on a development, an algorithm and a technological innovation that is part of a positive approach of the digital flow", says Imad Haddour.

With this new initiative, Inetum continues to be at the heart of a dynamic development of innovation ecosystems on the African continent. The Group's objective has always been to promote and support African digital projects and talents. This strong will is reflected in another of Inetum's actions with the Africa Digital Manager Award, which highlights talents and projects in digital strategies and encourages and inspires the initiatives of tomorrow.
