Press Release

Release date :

This Friday, 16 June, Inetum will have the honour of joining other French Tech players in the presence of Jean-Noël Barrot, France's Deputy Minister of Digital Transition and Telecommunications, to support the “I choose French Tech” plan to boost French start-ups. The aim is to double the number of start-ups purchased in the French private and public sectors by 2027.

Yes to French Tech! A major topic that's part of the Inetum Group's DNA

Inetum's participation in and support for VivaTech 2023 is a natural fit. As a French company, Inetum is by its very DNA an incumbent local player that is committed to and a vital part of French Tech with more than 45 sites, 10,000 employees, and 3 FabLabs in the country that work daily with French start-ups. The Group has a dozen key partnerships for R&D and innovation: PhD theses (healthcare research programme) and research programmes on regional innovation and smart cities (ETI Chair at Panthéon-Sorbonne University), as well as the Lynx augmented-reality project (Innovation Award).

An incumbent IT services provider in France, Inetum is one of the biggest recruiters in the country

Inetum has a strong foothold among the top 10 IT service providers in France, being the leader in the public sector, and also one of the largest software vendors in the country (top 13 in the Truffle rating).

Inetum – with 27,000 employees in 27 countries and revenues of EUR 2.4 billion in 2022 – thus confirms its commitment, already active for many years in France, through its proximity to local players and its increasingly active contribution to the development of the country's economy. This institutional recognition underlines Inetum's major role in the tech ecosystem.

Inetum is one of the biggest recruiters in France in 2023, with 3,500 new hires planned for this year across the country, at all job levels, from trainee to senior expert, and in all tech and digital professions.

Jacques Pommeraud, Chairman and CEO of the Inetum Group, states: “Inetum is an active player in French Tech. With our Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, we share the same ambition, namely to give impetus to a collective dynamic that creates value and jobs. Firmly committed to useful innovation, our expertise is guided by creativity and the search for tomorrow's digital solutions, in direct collaboration with our customers, whether companies or institutions.”
