What is XR (eXtended Reality)?​

Extended Reality refers to any existing or future experience created through spatial computing or immersive technologies.​ ​

Augmented and Virtual Reality systems provide a new infrastructure for crafting rich experiences for end users. VR lets you create a virtual 3D workplace for remote co-workers, while AR lets you overlay reality with digital content. Although we can think of an infinity of experiences mixing real and virtual, we usually talk of Mixed Reality when virtual objects are inserted in the physical world as if they where holograms.

WHAT IS XR

Extended Reality or XR regroups all the experiences one can create using immersive technologies.

AUGMENTED REALITY
Super imposition of a digital layer on top of reality (computer vision, path finding, IoT)
MIXED REALITY
Any experience mixing virtuality and reality (holograms, physical collaboration)
VIRTUAL REALITY
Immersion in a fully digital world (simulation, remote collaboration, learn, review, immersion)

Facilitating communication through Immersion​

A physical space can be captured (via 3D scanner for example) or modelled. Simulate reality and interactions / consequences / reactions that may occur. 3D simulation in VR is proven to produce a higher memory retention rate. It allows you for example to train on a machine, practice specifics operations, test processes, or carry out security checks.

Intraverse is a comprehensive solution to prepare and run cooperative XR work sessions without any XR-related technical skills. 

One of the crucial parts of any design project is to make a quick and efficient decisions. Effective communication of 3D concepts requires an immersive design review. Access to this is made possible by a user-friendly interface that can both interact with models and perform the necessary checks and correction requests in the Virtual World. All this can be done remotely by all concerned stakeholders from any location. ​
