Inetum launches Express ScanDNI, an app to quickly verify the QR code of the Government's new digital ID card.

• The solution developed by Inetum allows to validate identities immediately, securely and without the need for physical documentation, so that the QR code of the new official digital ID card, MiDNI, can be carried on the mobile phone.

Inetum, European leader in digital services, announces the launch of Express ScanDNI, a pioneering technological solution designed to operate natively with MiDNI, the new official application of the Government of Spain and the National Police that allows to carry the National Identity Document in digital format on the mobile through a QR code.

With this proposal, Inetum is positioned as one of the first companies to offer a functional and secure tool that allows to verify the identity of individuals through the scanning of a QR code generated by MiDNI. Express ScanDNI transforms the way in which processes such as customer registration, contract signing or access to digital and face-to-face services are carried out.

The system is based on secure reading and verification technology of the signed QR data that allows, in a matter of seconds, to validate the data associated with the digital ID, complying with the regulatory requirements in terms of data protection, electronic signature and official identification. 

Among the main advantages of this solution are the reduction of waiting times, the elimination of the use of physical documentation and the improvement of the user experience, both in face-to-face and traditional digital channels. In addition, its integration is designed for strategic sectors such as tourism, financial services, healthcare, public administration, legaltech and other areas that require reliable and auditable identity verification processes.
