Inetum and Microsoft collaborate to accelerate the adoption of AI solutions in key sectors: healthcare and information management (IIM).

Madrid, April 12th 2024.- Manuel García del Valle, CEO of Inetum Iberia Latam, and Alberto Granados, president of Microsoft Spain, have signed this strategic alliance with which both companies seek to accelerate the adoption of AI solutions in the Spanish market, especially in key sectors such as Healthcare and Information Management (IIM), with the creation of specific products.

Inetum, Europe's leader in digital solutions and services will adopt Microsoft's AI solutions in its internal systems and processes, such as Azure OpenAI, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Github Copilot and Copilot for Security, to boost its own productivity, innovation and security.

Inetum also announces its AI Center of Excellence in Spain, based on Azure to create solutions and capabilities, as well as the creation of new training centers - in five cities in Spain and Portugal - to enable society and technological profiles in the subjects of GenAI and Cybersecurity.

Manuel García del Valle, CEO of Inetum in Iberia Latam, explains that "This agreement is part of the group's strategy to establish strong relationships with market leaders in Gen AI solutions. And we will do so with five training centers in Madrid, Tarragona, Monzón, Bilbao and Lisbon, where the centers of excellence in Microsoft technologies will also be located". This enablement effort will focus on Microsoft Copilot, Cybersecurity and Microsoft Azure platform.

Alberto Granados, president of Microsoft Spain says: "The collaboration with Inetum Spain will help accelerate the adoption of AI solutions in joint customers in key sectors such as healthcare and public administration, and will allow us to work together in driving sustainable innovation."

In addition to the company's qualified professionals, Inetum's training centers will also host a reskilling plan in Cyber Gen AI, for the professional recycling of employees. These five training and excellence centers will be located in different locations of the multinational in Spain and Portugal:

In the case of Inetum Tarraco Space, it is also planned to incorporate 200 vocational training students each year.

To meet its goal of being a company that generates a positive impact on society, Inetum will measure its CO2 impact within this technology and will carry out a monthly monitoring with the intention of reducing the carbon footprint, for which they will take advantage of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.The entire Executive Committee of the Inetum group together with Microsoft team have witnessed the signing of this collaboration agreement.
