Murcia, January 14, 2025 - Inetum, a leading European digital services company, has announced its commitment to Murcia with the creation of a Salesforce technology hub, which will be accompanied by the generation of employment to reach 400 jobs in 2027.
The Country Manager of Inetum Spain, Ion Ander Bordonaba; the director of the Levante territory in Inetum, Alberto Ferrús; and the director of Public Sector in Inetum, Sergio Rodríguez, have presented this initiative to Fernando López Miras, president of the Region of Murcia, and Luis Alberto Marín González, Minister of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Digital Transformation, in the meeting held at the Palace of San Esteban this Tuesday. With this plan, the company seeks to generate employment and talent in the region, as well as to give visibility to Murcia in the 19 countries that will consume its services.
“We plan to install the Salesforce center of expertise here in Murcia,” explains Ion Ander Bordonaba, Country Manager of Inetum Spain, ”in what is the first step in our firm commitment to this region; we want to continue growing and accompany the administration in its digital transformation, while developing talent and generating employment, with the forecast of reaching 400 professionals in our workforce in the next three years. Collaboration with universities, academic institutions and training centers will also be a lever in the development of technological talent.”
The initiative has been presented to the government of Murcia and is expected to have a positive impact on the region, both in terms of employment and visibility. The Minister of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Digital Transformation, Luis Alberto Marín, stressed that the Region of Murcia's commitment to digitalization “continues to attract top-level technology companies. The implementation in the Region of a world-class company like Inetum reinforces us in our digitization strategy, which has as its axis and great attraction the Digital Transformation Agency and is helping to position the Region as a technological hub at national and international level,” said Marín.
