Inetum supports AG2R La Mondiale in deploying its new front office on Salesforce and Genesys platforms
AG2R La Mondiale was looking for a genuine partner to help it modernize its IS. The insurance group chose Inetum, a leader in digital solutions, for its Salesforce expertise and advanced business knowledge. This new collaboration makes Inetum AG2R La Mondiale's main IT supplier.

In June 2024, Inetum welcomed around a hundred employees from AG2R La Mondiale to Stories, its head office. For two days, business teams, IT specialists and consultants from both companies worked out the Planning Increment (PI) for the insurer's front office, which will be deployed on the Salesforce and Genesys platforms.
The deployment of a new front office should help AG2R La Mondiale to meet its critical and strategic challenges in the face of evolving customer uses and expectations, as the insurer serves 15 million people and over 500,000 companies worldwide with health, provident, savings, retirement and asset management products.
A strengthened relationship of trust
It made perfect sense to hold this deployment preparation session at Inetum. A major partner of Salesforce, the Group is a long-standing IT service provider to AG2R La Mondiale. For over a decade, Inetum has been in charge of TMA for the Group's Pensions IS, and for the past few years has been involved in providing operating analysis and Windows support as a service center.
This relationship of trust between the two parties has recently been strengthened. In 2022, AG2R La Mondiale launched a 6-year IT platform modernization program, with the aim of streamlining its information system, opening it up to external exchanges, increasing its agility and offering a genuine customer vision. In this context, “we looked for platforms adapted to each business line. Salesforce was chosen as the engagement platform to provide this digital backbone, and Genesys to energize all voice calls, as well as the distribution of tasks”, confides Stéphane Lapierre, Customer Relations and Digital IT Manager at AG2R La Mondiale, in a testimonial given to Inetum during the PI.

This technological choice led to the launch of a call for tenders, which Inetum won ahead of five competitors, in March 2023, to deploy the engagement platform using SAFe methodology. Inetum highlighted its 6-year experience with a customer also operating in the insurance sector for a similar service. This confirmed AG2R La Mondiale's selection. “We were looking for genuine strategic partners to accompany us on each of our adventures, and not just man-days. The choice fell on Inetum, which has a certain volume of skills on these engagement platforms, Salesforce and Genesys, to ensure the link between them, as well as an advanced insurance vertical,” comments Stéphane Lapierre.
Today, Inetum supports the insurance group at its Paris, Lille and Esvrier sites, with some 150 consultants. After 12 years of service to this major customer, Inetum has become AG2R La Mondiale's leading IT supplier, across all purchasing categories, for its Group Pension IS. “What we look for in Inetum, and what has worked since the beginning of our experience, is this partnership, the fact that we can build and continue to succeed together”, adds Stéphane Lapierre, who appreciates the desire to move forward faster and more simply that characterizes the ESN today. A success that reflects Inetum's new ambition to conquer new markets.
