Agreement between Inetum in Spain and the University of Valladolid to encourage technological innovation among students.
The agreement signed this week contemplates the creation of annual awards to promote and stimulate innovation in technology among future UVa engineers, who will also be able to carry out internships at Inetum in Spain.
The rector of the University of Valladolid, Antonio Largo, and Monica Herrero, Head of HR Operations at Inetum, have signed this week the agreement establishing a collaboration agreement between the two entities to create annual awards to encourage technological innovation among students of Computer Engineering, Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering and those dependent university masters to be detailed in the call. Prizes will be awarded to final projects, final degree projects or final master's degree projects based on the application of Information and Communication Technologies.
The agreement also contemplates the programming of conferences by Inetum experts in order to disseminate in the university environment topics related to Information and Communication Technologies that are at the forefront of knowledge. In addition, this agreement opens the possibility for UVa students to carry out internships in the company.
Mónica Herrero was accompanied by Juan Carlos Fernández Suárez, Inetum's Northwest Territory Director, and Juan Carlos Prieto de la Rosa, head of Inetum Castilla y Leon.
On behalf of the University of Valladolid, the vice-rector for Students and Employability, Cristina de la Rosa, and the director of the School of Computer Engineering of the UVa, promoter of the agreement, Manuel Barrio, joined the rector.
