Inetum supported Amanor in its deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to modernize the management system of the company specializing in public works. With this migration, Amanor has considerably improved its operational efficiency and financial management.
Amanor is a Moroccan company specializing in wastewater and drinking water services. Created in 2002, this Veolia subsidiary employs 215 permanent staff and 450 temporary workers, and currently generates sales of 100 million dirham (approx. €9 million), mainly through delegated management contracts with distributors Amendis and Redal.
Amanor needed to modernize its aging ERP as part of a restructuring plan. “Our previous system had become obsolete, and migrating to the most up-to-date version required specific configuration and development work that proved too costly,” explained Nabil Ezzaki, Consolidation & Financial Reporting Manager at Veolia Environmental Services Morocco. Amanor decided to switch to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Standardize management tools
This technological choice was part of a drive to standardize management tools across all the Group's entities in the region. Inetum's standardization of several Amanor subsidiaries began in 2022, and the company was able to leverage the benefits of this operation. “We copied the experience gained from previous deployments on Amanor,” Nabil Ezzaki. Additional developments were also identified during the scoping workshops to meet specific needs expressed by Amanor's customers in terms of invoicing and work tracking.
Inetum also had to answer a questionnaire imposed by Veolia concerning security to obtain authorization to migrate the ERP. “I congratulate the Inetum teams on their efficiency, because the questionnaire was really complex,” said Nabil Ezzaki.
Improving operational efficiency
Ordered in June 2023, the new ERP has been operational since January 1st, 2024. After six months in operation, Nabil Ezzaki has seen the benefits in terms of operational efficiency and financial management at Amanor. In particular:
-
Modification control and traceability now guarantee data integrity;
-
Remote and permanent access to the tool facilitates continuity of operations;
-
The speed and quality of reports;
-
Better visibility of payment schedules and cash flow, crucial in view of the new supplier payment measures in Morocco.
Successful partnership: Amanor praises Inetum's reactivity and expertise
Nabil Essaki also emphasizes the good working relationship he enjoys with the Inetum teams. “The fluid communication between project managers, team leaders and consultants makes Inetum very responsive. This is illustrated in particular by the additional settings to be applied regularly in Business Central to comply with regulatory changes. These settings, in turn, benefit all the Group's companies in Morocco. For Amanor, reactivity is the key to success.
