COBOL Engineer - Applicative Monitoring (with French) M/F

Mission

  • Actively contribution to ensure the proper execution of the night batch
  • Meet the objectives related to its application (availability time, incidents time resolution…)
  • Monitor and follow the necessary data transfer between applications
  • Analyze and correct incidents, problems
  • Support the ICP and continuity exercise
  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of obsolescence plan
  • Monitor the batch execution in non-production environments and take care of applicative abends
  • Update documents after each change
  • Propose and implement actions to optimize the production consumption and simplify functionalities
  • Follow and enforce norms and standards, security rules

Profile

  • Graduate of technical profile faculty
  • Experience in COBOL programming (minimum 4 years)
  • Experience with Mainframe, JCL, DB2
  • Experience in application support
  • Proactivity
  • Synthesis Capacity
  • Customer Orientation
  • Initiative Capacity
  • Mandatory English and French skills.
