Inetum steps up its commitment towards employment for people with disabilities by signing a 3-year agreement until 2023

Press Release

Release date :

The agreement signed on 10 November last year by Inetum’s management and social partners to favour employment for people with disabilities became effective on 1 January 2021 and will remain in force until 2023. Based on tangible actions, the agreement underlines the IT services company’s desire to develop an active policy to include and support people with disabilities.

A concrete and daily commitment

The commitment by Inetum (formerly Gfi) to integrate people with disabilities is backed by an action plan built around six pillars that uphold the inclusive strategy deployed by the European leader in IT services – management, recruitment, keeping in employment, training, information and awareness, and relations with the adapted/protected workforce sector.

The plan will be monitored by a steering committee consisting of staff, management and HR representatives, as well as an internal disability taskforce that stands ready to answer any disability-and-employment-related questions that employees may have from day to day.

Inetum CEO Vincent Rouaix says, “Enhancing the digital experience for the people in our company in all their diversity is a necessity. This agreement on the employment of people with disabilities contributes thereto. Our sector must be a vector of opportunities for all and must provide everyone with support in all stages of their career. It is our belief that Positive digital flow should contribute to building a responsible enterprise model that is more open and collaborative, to the benefit of our entire ecosystem.”

Additional budgetary and human resources will be allocated to the disability programme by placing local disability task officers at the Inetum headquarters and in the various parts of France where the Group has offices. These task officers will help the Group to meet the targets of the agreement, including the sustainable recruitment of more than 90 people with disabilities.

Promote diversity in the digital world

Inetum affirms its proactive policy to include populations with disabilities in the belief that if digital solutions are the future for all organizations, the Group must fulfil its role as a driving force of opportunities and generate a positive impact by integrating people in all their diversity.

The digital sector has been growing fast for several years now. It is a great source of employment with numerous opportunities for a variety of populations. In this respect, Inetum is also part of the “Digital & Disability” grouping of companies that endeavour to make job candidates with disabilities aware of the diversity and attractiveness of digital professions.
